- Crack the coconut and peel the black part with a knife.cut into smaller pieces or grate. Set aside.rinse the soaked rice. Pour the coconut in a blender and blend till smooth. Sieve in a pot. Blend the soaked rice too and sieve on the coconut juice. Rinse the star anise and add to the pot. Put on heat and stir continuously without stopping until the kunu thickens.
- If the desired thickness is achieved,add the vanilla, milk and sugar and stir for about 3mins. Remove from heat. Enjoy!
