The ingredients needed to make Baked Rasgulla:
  1. Take 8 pcs Rasgullas (preferably homemade)
  2. Prepare 500 ml full fat whole cow's Milk
  3. Make ready 4 tablespoons Khoya/ Kheer
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup whole milk separately
  5. Make ready 2 tablespoons cornflour
  6. Make ready 2-4 cardamoms

Steps to make Baked Rasgulla:
  1. Squeeze out sugar syrup from Rasgullas and keep aside.
  2. In a pan take 500 ml. full fat whole cow's milk and keep it to boil. Stir continuously.
  3. Add 4 tablespoons khoya into the boiled milk. Stir and mix well to avoid lumps.
  4. Take 1/2 cup milk in a separate container (room temperature). Add 2 tablespoons cornflour and mix well to avoid any lumps.
  5. When the khoya is well mixed with the milk, add the milk-corflour batter to thicken it further. Stir continuously so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
  6. Once done let the kheer cool in room temperature.
  7. Pour some kheer as a base layer in a microwave safe container.
  8. Place the squeezed Rasgullas in the container.
  9. Pour Kheer to cover the Rasgullas but remember not to fill the container to avoid mess while baking.
  10. Preheat the oven in convection mode and bake for 5 minutes in 200°C. It may take more or less time depending upon the consistency of the kheer. So check in between.
  11. Garnish with some crushed dry fruits (optional).
