The ingredients needed to make Stuffed Dum Aloo:
  1. Prepare 8 small potatoes
  2. Make ready 1/4 cup grated paneer

Steps to make Stuffed Dum Aloo:
  1. First wash and peel the potatoes. Cut upper cap of the potato and hollow it from center. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the potatoes till it turns golden brown. Keep it aside.
  2. For stuffiing take grated paneer, cashews and raisins in a bowl. Add all spices as mentioned and mix well. Now stuff this filling in the hollow portion of potatoes. Now join the cap of potato with a toothpick so that stuffing don't come outside.
  3. For gravy soak cashews in water for 15 min. Now take chopped tomatoes, soaked cashews, ginger and green chilli in a blender and make puree of it. Heat oil in a pan and add hing and cumin to it. Now add puree and all spices to it and cook for 5 min. Once it's cooked add potatoes to it and cook further 5 min. Stuffed dum aloo is ready. Serve it with any paratha or poori.
