Steps to make Tufo (Awara):
- Remove the dirt from the siya beans, wash and grind/blend until smooth
- Add enough water to the batter and sieve using a cheese cloth. Then pour the juice into a clean pot and set on heat and leave to boil
- When it start boiling add your ruwan tsami to the juice, you will see the tufo becomes cloth and clean water down
- Use a clean cheese cloth yo collect the fresh tufo and tie it so that the water will drain off, add seasoning then cut into desired shapes and fry in hot oil
