And pressure cook it for 3 whistles. Then open it and add some more warm water if it becomes thick. Add chopped And then mash it with the help of dal masher add salt and boil it for more 2-3 mins.
  3. Heat a tempering pan on medium flame with oil is heated add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. (keep the flame low) add curry leaves and green chilli the tempering pan and immediately putting into the dal, cover it for a min then mix it.dal is ready.

Now boil dal masoor, dal mung in the water. After that add, salt, red chili powder, green chili, turmeric, garlic, coriander powder and cumin powder. Skim the foam off the top if you want.
